Recently, Turkey's hunutru coal fired power plant (hereinafter referred to as "hunutru power plant") designed by China Energy East Design Institute and contracted by Anhui Power Construction No. 1 company held the first concrete pouring ceremony for the main plant, marking the full commencement of the project.

Design embodies "excellent style"           

As a key project under the initiative of China's "one belt and one road" and the "middle corridor" of Turkey, the factory has been committed to building a clean, efficient and reliable world class power plant. The project is also the largest direct investment project of Chinese enterprises in Turkey since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Turkey, and the first imported coal power project invested by Chinese enterprises in Turkey. China's equipment supply rate is more than 90%, and China's design, standards, equipment, technology, management and service are all "going global".           

In the process of design, Huadong Institute carefully selected and carried out a lot of scheme demonstration.           

In the construction drawing design, East China Design Institute carried out various design optimization work. The project is located in the 9-degree high intensity earthquake area, and the structural design needs to follow a variety of local and international standards and specifications such as Turkish standards, European Union standards and American standards, which is difficult to design and has a long period.           

"The power plant is not only located in the 9-degree high-intensity earthquake area, but also has extremely complex geological conditions. In addition, the plant site is located at the seaside, which is a great challenge to the corrosion prevention and structural performance of the sea water smoke extraction tower." Dong Mengjun, director of Civil Engineering Department of East China Power Generation Engineering Branch, said. During the implementation of the project, East China Institute of technology has made great efforts to promote the structural design of the cooling tower, and has also carried out systematic optimization of the pile foundation scheme. The design scheme of rock foundation pile foundation combination has been put forward, which saves nearly half of the pile foundation work amount and reduces the project cost. No matter from scheme design or detail handling, a series of works of East China Institute have been affirmed by the owner.          

 Construction shows "Chinese style"           

Safe and civilized construction, green construction, visual management, "smart site" construction... Anhui No.1 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. continues to use the mature experience of domestic projects in the hunutlu project, and at the same time, draws on the local highlights of experience and practices, continues to output high-quality services, showing the high standard construction level of China.           

In the first mass concrete pouring project node, the project Department of Anhui No.1 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. plans from the joint review of drawings, boiler foundation construction scheme, mass concrete pouring scheme and other technical management, and strictly controls the technology and process. Wang Jingen, chief engineer of the project, said: "the acceptance system and process requirements of China and Turkmenistan are quite different. We require technical personnel to work in the field, teach local staff by hand, carry out self inspection and construction simultaneously, and shorten the construction time."           

When the domestic construction personnel were hoisting, they were stopped by the local safety engineer as soon as they installed the steel wire rope, saying that they had never seen the steel wire rope inserted and questioned its performance. The project department finally dispelled the engineer's doubts by explaining the domestic rules and regulations and on-site experimental display.           

In the process of boiler anchor bolt installation, ozide, a local female engineer, took the initiative to suggest that the coordinates of anchor bolts should be measured one by one with total station instrument. After inspection, it was found that the results of this method were accurate. The project department decided to change the traditional domestic acceptance method of steel wire alignment anchor bolts. "In the face of the differences in engineering management between China and Turkmenistan, the project department is also constantly running in and learning, and optimizing the working methods in the process of concept integration." Zheng Jiude, head of the hunutlu project of Anhui No. 1 electric power construction company, said.           

Cultural exhibition "international model"           

"I suggest to set up a material stacking area in this area, which will not affect the passage of people..." On the morning of October 13, CAF, the local safety engineer of hunutlu project, with the help of translator, had a communication with the management personnel of the headquarters of Anhui power construction first company through the mobile video monitoring equipment of "hand-held single soldier", which is a new attempt of Anhui power construction first company to strengthen the remote supervision of overseas projects.            

As the largest overseas project undertaken by Anhui No.1 electric power construction company, at the beginning of construction, the project department closely contacted with the local (Jiehan) chamber of Commerce, established the local materials and subcontracting resource pool, and introduced 6 local teams, with nearly 600 local employees. In order to practice "cross-cultural management", the project department has established rules and regulations, formulated personnel management measures for the territory, and standardized local employment and subcontract management. In order to mobilize the work enthusiasm of the Chinese and Turkish teams, the project Department of Anhui No.1 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. carried out labor competition in the process of building the main plant, improved skills and gained friendship in the competition, and created a happy and harmonious atmosphere.           

"The Turks are very hospitable and they give us a lot of advice when we start." Huang Jinping, the project secretary, introduced that the project department, through holding "cross-cultural management" symposiums for many times, invited the leaders of local teams to have a discussion and exchange, listened to the opinions on project planning, logistics and transportation, market inquiry and other aspects, effectively reducing the difficulty of preliminary planning of the project.
