On November 13, 2019, in response to the application submitted by Bonney forge Corporation and the United Steel, paper and forest, rubber, manufacturing, energy, and Allied Industrial and service workers International Union on October 23, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that imports from India And South Korea's forged steel fittings launched anti-dumping and countervailing investigations. This case involves the products under the Harmonized Tariff No. 7307.92.3010, 7307.92.3030, 7307.92.9000, 7307.99.1000, 7307.99.3000, 7307.99.5045 and 7307.99.5060, as well as some products under 7307.93.3010, 7307.93.3040, 7307.93.6000, 7307.93.9010, 7307.93.9040, 7307.93.9060 and 7326.19.0010. The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) is expected to make a preliminary determination of industrial damage in this case no later than December 9, 2019. If the U.S. International Trade Commission determines that the import of the products involved in the case constitutes a material damage or threat of material damage to the domestic industry of the United States, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue to investigate the case and it is expected to make a preliminary countervailing determination on January 16, 2020 and a preliminary countervailing determination on March 31, 2020.

According to the statistics of the US side, the total imports of steel parts from India and South Korea in 2018 were about US $92.6 million and US $67.6 million respectively. (From Csteel)
